1991

  • Callaway twin turbo option lasted in 1991 because of the coming of the ZR-1 which is cheaper.
  • The 10th Anniversary of Corvette production at the Bowling Green, kentucky plant.
  • The last year for the dual remote door mounted rear hatch releases for coupe only.

1992

  • Marks the production of the one millionth Corvette - it was a white convertible.
  • The LT1 small block engine was re-introduced.

1993

  • Corvette celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
  • All 40th Anniversary Special Edition models were Ruby red.
  • The ZR-1 horsepower grew to 405.
  • The Corvette come up with different tire sizes front to rear, for the first time.

1994

  • The Corvette was first created with dual air bags.

1995

  • Only 448 units of ZR-1 were produced, production year of the ZR-1 ended in 1995.
